Warning !!

There are so many statements out there about the Golddust that simply are not true.  I urge everyone to do your research before you buy a Golddust Yorkshire Terrier.  Please read my Biewer & Golddust Info page as it has a lot of information about this breed.  I have created this warning page to show what the actual color of golddust yorkshire terriers should look like and also to put a few examples of other breeders who are making false statements.   There is a Kennel in Michigan doing a lot of advertising purposely trying to use the name "Exquisite" in her ads.  There is no comparison to my "Exquisite Golddust Yorkshire  Terriers" and her kennel as it is easy to see in the quality of dogs and puppies I have compared to the other kennel trying to pass off pups with a lot of black /brown and other colors and claiming they are golddust yorkshire.

Pictured below is the correct color of Golddust Yorkshire Terrier.  They are White and Gold in color whatever distribution (The Golden Hue may or may not in adult animals greatly brighten up, so it is just as fine dust guess can, hence the name "Golddust" = golddust)  The coat of the adult animal must be free from black hair!  (Puppies may have black hair which spikes)  As you see from pictures below there is not Black or Brown on these Golddust Yorkshire Terriers.  Brown and White is NOT a purebred Golddust Yorkshire Terrier.

Exquisite Biewer & Golddust is working in conjunction with MetaMorphix Inc. Laboratory.  All Golddust in our breeding program have DNA profiles of dam and sire and parentage verification report from  MetaMorphix Inc. laboratory.  This parentage verification report compares the DNA profiles of dam, sire, and pup (s) and determines with greater than 99% confidence the pups are from the tested dam and sire.  When I personally have purchased Golddust I have always requested DNA verification on the Breeding pair or I refuse to buy from that breeder.  Make sure your Golddust puppies parents have been DNA tested.  If they have not and breeder will not agree to do DNA then that is your warning sign that pup is not purebred and to not purchase from that breeder.

I have worked very hard for this Golddust breed that I am so proud of.  My Kennel "Exquisite Biewers & Golddust" has made a name for bringing the Golddust standard from its country of origin in Germany over to the United States dog show venues  (IABCA and NAKC).  Not only did we get the Golddust Yorkshire Terrier accepted into the show ring in the United States but are proud to have the first Best In Show Champions as our breeding pairs.  I am very passionate about this breed and therefore have made this page to help educate the public when purchasing a Golddust Yorkshire Terrier to add to their family.

Here are some examples of the false statements off a Breeders page in the USA:

1.  One of a few breeders world wide to own the Multi-World Champion Golddust

2.  Pleased to announce one of the first programs in the world to offer Golddust

3.  Our foundation sires and dams are exquisitely bred rare Golddust Yorkshire Terriers of Multi-Champion bloodlines famous both here and in Europe.

4.  One of only three breeders worldwide to own Multi World Champion Golddust Yorkshire Terriers.

5.  One of only 2 breeders in the United States to offer these rare and Exquisite puppies for sale

False statements like the ones above put a lot of red flags up so please research and get to know and trust your breeder before you purchase!  I urge everyone to do your homework before buying.  These quotes came off a website in the USA.  This breeder who claims to own the Multi-World Champion Golddust" has never had her golddust dogs in the show ring.   Responsible breeders know the breeds standard and do not dock tails of pups when the standard calls for un-docked tails.  This breed is very popular and very active in Germany in the show ring and are more sought over than the Biewer Yorkshire Terrier. To make the false statements above is ridiculous.
